  • Immediately Increase Your Income, Impact, and Influence in 2019 with Lena Elkins

Immediately Increase Your Income, Impact, and Influence in 2019 with Lena Elkins

Change Your Mindset, Make More Money. Lena stresses that the first thing that anyone needs to do before they can increase their income is to shift the beliefs they have about what they think is possible for them.  Once you’ve opened up the gates of possibility and internalized it, the strategies and aligned action will come. Lena shares, “your beliefs are what ultimately produce your thoughts, and your thoughts are what inspire your reality.”

Notice the thoughts that occur when your bills come in the mail or the next time you go to swipe your credit card for a purchase.  Are you having thoughts of ease and effortlessness or are there voices that are telling you that you’re losing money? How do you feel when you’re investing large amounts of money in yourself, your health, your friends, your company, etc?  Attune yourself to the background noise that goes on in your mind when the topic of money comes up.

Find out where those thoughts that tell you that “you are enough” or that “you don’t have enough” are lingering and nip them in the bud!

Stop Sabotaging Your Success. How many times have you thought, “if only XYZ were in place, I would…” or “I can’t do…because I don’t have…”?  Sound familiar? Quit sabotaging yourself! Lena demands that you stop giving yourself excuses that limit what is possible.  She’s a firm believer that there is never a right time and that sometimes you just have to jump into the uncertainty to see what happens.

    I love her no-bullshit persona.

What would happen if you chose to take your goals seriously?  If no matter how many excuses your brain conjured up that you would take action that is aligned with your desired outcome.  The ifs, ands, or buts will always be there, and they will consume you if you let them.  Don’t give your brain, which is programmed to preemptively detect things to be afraid of, that kind of satisfaction.  Make this the year that you take risks! You never know…you might just surprise yourself.

People Want To Invest in You. Let’s be real.  There are billions of people on this planet. There are people out there that are waiting and wanting to pay you for your brilliance.  People that need you and your unique offering! Lena says, “most of the time, the reason why people aren’t paying you is because you aren’t showing up and communicating in your own unique way consistently enough and at the level that you need to”.  When is the last time you shared about what you were up to?

Lena suggests going on Facebook Live, setting up your sales page, creating an order form, and doing whatever it takes to create opportunities for people to hear what you’re doing.  Keep sharing about what matters to you, make sure people know exactly what you do and what your offerings are. Figure out how many ways people can pay you, and share that too!  Show up consistently, watch the magic unfold and money start to flow in.

This episode is a tiny taste of what Lena and Jules’ have in store for their Money Manifestation Master Course.  Make this the year you transform your online business – sign up now!

  • How to Live an Unstoppable Life with 11-Year-Old Fashion Designer, Hanalei Swan

How to Live an Unstoppable Life with 11-Year-Old Fashion Designer, Hanalei Swan

Do you remember being asked as a kid, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Some of you might remember that question and laugh, wondering where the younger version of you got those fun ideas.  Or perhaps, you’re more like Hanalei, and you chose to take action as fast as you could on said future dreams.

At the ripe age of 7 years old, Hanalei was asked: “what do you want to be now?” Her response to this question redirected her future someday self into taking immediate action.  She’d been traveling around the world with her parents since the age of 1 and had always loved art and drawing. Through a serendipitous meeting at a restaurant in Bali, Hanalei and her parents would meet a fashion designer who would be instantly taken by Hanalei and her fashion sketches.

It was in this moment that Hanalei would declare herself as a fashion designer, ultimately stepping into her greater mission to change the world through slow fashion.

The Power of Your Mission. The more I listened to Hanalei share her story, the deeper I felt the magnitude of her belief in herself and her mission. This little lady is devoted to all that is important to her.  The fashion industry is the 2nd largest contributor of waste on our planet, and Hanalei is doing everything she can to reverse these side effects through consciously chosen products and sustainable manufacturing practices.  For every item purchased, she also gives a school uniform to kids in India, ensuring they can go to school to get the education they need to continue positively impacting a world that needs them.

What can others count on you for?  What are you doing to have a greater impact in your industry?  What shift could immediately shake up the status quo for positive change?  Where are you giving more instead of consuming? Notice where your mission could be of benefit and apply your contribution to the health of our planet.

Action Over Uncertainty. Hanalei is a firm believer that there is always an immediate action you can take to make your dreams your reality.  When I met her in Bali, I was immediately struck by her “let’s do this” attitude. She is ready and willing to do whatever it takes to execute and show up, shining brightly.  Her brilliance is seen in how she is choosing to impact millions of people through empowering and inspiring them to dream bigger and challenge everything that societal conditioning has told them to push away or shut down.

Whatever may be inhibiting you from taking action on your dreams, let Hanalei’s words address the programming that has potentially distracted you from diving into the depths of your potential.  Don’t let conventional wisdom imprison you. Discover your own internal wisdom and give yourself permission to pave the path that is uniquely yours.

The world is waiting to see what your limited edition dreams are.

  • How to Make Your Wellness Routine Work for You and Your Business with Ines Festini

How to Make Your Wellness Routine Work for You and Your Business with Ines Festini

There is no one-size-fits-all work out, diet, routine, or nutritional guideline, especially when you’re constantly on the go. The most important thing you can do for your health and wellness is to find what works for you.  Many people think that taking care of themselves is a complicated and overwhelming task, but Ines emphasizes that it doesn’t have to be this way. She suggests starting with simple, basic steps that can be done in less than one hour a week depending on what you wish to achieve.

If you only have a few minutes before that morning meeting, what could you do to feel more grounded and powerful before the day gets away from you?  Do you have a favorite beverage to kick start your day? What is your favorite way to move your body? Could you prioritize 10 minutes of your most joyful movement? Start simple and work your way up to more complexity.

For some inspiration, here is Ines’ morning routine:

    • Meditation every day
    • Some form of movement, even if it’s a few minutes
    • Dry brushing for detoxification purposes
    • Lots of water and green juice or powder
    • Bulletproof coffee
    • Journaling for 10-20 minutes

Make Yourself a Priority. Ines is a firm believer of only doing what you love.  After years of unhealthy habits and drilling herself into the ground, Ines lost her sense of self completely until she finally figured out what needed to shift.  She’d made her career and everyone else the priority forgetting about herself in the process. She recalls barely recognizing herself as she looked in the mirror one day.  She couldn’t feel her body, was living for the weekend and had been numbing herself just to get by.

Ines shares her story so that others don’t have to go to such extremes to find their best self and health.  She believes in making your routines excite you and committing to making your wellness routine non-negotiable.

What is it that you’re committed to?  Is it your happiness? Your mindset? Your fitness?  Know that success starts with you. Imagine the way you want to look. Remember how good you feel after a good exercise?  What is it that you desire when it comes to your health and wellbeing? She shares, “as soon as you feel that your workout is another task and its work, it’s the wrong approach.”

Permission to Do What Feels Good. Some days your body may want a good sweat, on others, you’ll simply want an easeful walk.  Perhaps you enjoy meditation or maybe you prefer to write or take a detoxifying bath. Give yourself permission to find what works best for you.  For instance, if a morning routine doesn’t fit in, try evenings.

Remember what you’re committed to and find your own flow.  What time of the day do you feel most energized? What is your favorite way to unwind?  When can commit to scheduling yourself in every day? At the core of whatever you do, make sure you’re doing something you love and be consistent.

  • Hilarious Hacks To Counteract Productivity Pitfalls and Create Radical Resiliency

Hilarious Hacks To Counteract Productivity Pitfalls and Create Radical Resiliency

“Every day is a bonus round”

Without a doubt, Heath is one of the most driven, hilariously wise humans I know.  If you’re ever feeling stuck in a rut or needing an extra boost for a productive day, he’s got you covered with his witty wisdom.  He has personally brightened many of my days and restored my confidence when I’ve been ready to throw in the towel.  This guy isn’t all jokes though.  While creating massive success in e-commerce and construction, Heath burnt himself out a few times before shifting gears to focus on motivational products and an inspiring podcast.  His journey wasn’t always sparkles and rainbows, but through intense commitment and focus, he lives to tell many inspiring tales today.

Just after our Unconventional Life Bali Business Accelerator, Jules caught up with Heath to learn his best practices for smashing your fears, focusing your mind, and motivating yourself through the trials and tribulations of the entrepreneurial world.

Mindset is Everything. After many grueling years of working without purpose and mindlessly going through the motions, Heath realized that the life he was living was killing him.  He remembers thinking to himself, “If I don’t make changes, I might die” as he recalls morning after morning waking up on the floor after blurry long nights out.  After leaving one unfulfilling career to pursue greater feats, he climbed the success ladder to drastically increase his income and buy the house and cars.  By conventional standards, he’d finally made it.  Behind the scenes, he’d watch his weeks pass him by wishing for the days of relief until his whole world came crashing down on him in April 2017.

There was no choice, but to drastically shift what he’d been doing.

Amongst the mess of losing everything, Heath spent countless hours writing about his experience.  If there’s anything you need to know about Heath, it’s that he is fiercely dedicated to his mindset practices and growth.  He writes daily and is in constant creation mode.  Ultimately, these writings would make up the 60 cards of his hilarious motivation card deck, The Sweet Ass Domination Deck.  These cards and all of his brilliant productivity products are living proof that by shifting your mindset you truly can achieve and accomplish anything.

What big idea has been begging you to pay attention? Is there something you wish to create, but you just can’t get yourself to sit down long enough to produce it? Are you stuck in a job you don’t love wondering what could be next day after day? Heath swears by affirmations and writing out your goals.  Write them out every single day.  Commit to taking two steps that will get you closer to those goals each day.  Live and breathe what you wish to accomplish.  It might be closer than you think.

Open Your Mouth, Share Your Wisdom. By starting his podcast, Never Stop Peaking, Heath’s intention was to continuously be learning about the powerful ways he could be showing up in the world to live his dream life.  Each interview became an opportunity for exponential growth, and so with every episode, he expanded his tool belt to be the best version of himself.  He kept asking the questions that mattered to him and learned from some of the best in the industry because of his focus and dedication to growth.

    But, he didn’t stop there.

While learning the information for himself was one intention for his podcast, he continues to share the wealth of knowledge he acquires along his wild journey.  He believes in continuously letting others know what you are up to and why.  He hilariously recommends that you “quit squeezing your butt cheeks and quit holding all your magic in.” In other words, share what matters to you and share often.  You never know who might be listening and how it may inspire others to be living their best life too.  If you don’t share, there is a 0% chance of anything shifting. What would you like to choose?

Don’t Take Yourself So Seriously. Even with immense success and experience out the wazoo, Heath shows us the importance of balancing productivity and work with humor and lightheartedness.  Choosing to laugh at yourself, especially when you’re starting to get your panties in a twist, is good for your soul, your health and for everyone else you might be driving up the wall.  Perhaps Heath is wearing off on me, but in all seriousness, take a little medicine from this man and find the joy and humor in life.

So often we see the pretty version of peoples lives and don’t see the stuff that goes on behind the scenes.  If we were all taking ourselves seriously, comparing and competing, the world would be seeing darker days.  Illuminate the darkness and share the sunny side of life.  It’ll work wonders on your happiness, which will likely increase your success, just by showing up with the intention to learn something new every day.

  • Restructuring an Unfulfilled Life: How To Shift Your Perspective and Define Success on Your Terms with Michael Dash

Restructuring an Unfulfilled Life: How To Shift Your Perspective and Define Success on Your Terms with Michael Dash

Michael Dash is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, investor, mentor, speaker, author, and thrill seeker. From building a company to over 5 million dollars a year in revenue to writing his upcoming book, Chasing the High, Michael is an extremely driven, multi-passionate individual.
His background consists of his addiction to gambling and road to recovery, a 6-year lawsuit with his past business partner, climbing and conquering Mt. Kilimanjaro, and continuously supporting and contributing to Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s Team-in-Training fundraising group.

Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover. On the cover of Michael Dash’s life not long ago, he was super successful, had conventionally checked all the boxes, and had all the right things going for him. Unfortunately, this cover was wildly deceiving and isolating, as Michael shares how deeply depressed and unfulfilled he was chasing the high of money making and gambling addiction.

Choosing a different path was a courageous choice that would ultimately redirect the course of his life. He’d been stuck for years, and it wasn’t until he found himself at our first ever Unconventional Life live event in Bali in 2016 that he started to come to terms with the fact that how he’d been living his life wasn’t going to cut it anymore.

When you’re caught comparing your success, company, lifestyle to those around you, remember that there is always more than meets the eye. There are only so many years and so many moments of another’s life that you’ve bared witness to. If you’re feeling stuck in a rut or unfulfilled by the world surrounding you, remember that you always have a choice. Just like Michael, he found ways to try something profoundly different and begin again.

Everything is about Perspective. We’ve all lived different journeys, have unique perspectives, and diverse experiences that make up infinite ways of being a human. People may not understand the shifts you begin to make, but they also may never understand your thought processes, your reality and the things you’ve been exposed to either. Try on a perspective that sees everyone as having something unique to offer you in their opinions and advice. Michael swears that some of the core elements of his life today, such as meditation and intuition, were a complete joke before he shifted his life and perspective. He now finds himself constantly interested in what others have to say, viewing each interaction as an opportunity to grow and expand his understanding of the world.

How might you choose to be curious about someone who seems radically different from you? What questions might you ask if you allowed yourself to be genuinely interested in what they see or believe? When you’re choosing a new path, people will have all kinds of beliefs and advice how about you could or should do things. Listen, integrate what feels good, and seek to grow from all your interactions.

Trust Your Journey, Your Flow, and Your Own Knowing. Michael believes that the sequence of events that led to his shifts were opportunities presented at the right time for the right reasons. In his latest iteration as an author, he is joyfully embracing the unknown into what he calls life with a question mark. He finds excitement in not knowing what the future holds but knows he always has a choice.

When you’re transitioning from your conventional life to an unconventional path, “what’s next” thoughts, “what-if” scenarios, and imposing advice about what you should do might show up. Michael recommends acknowledging your track record and finding confidence in yourself. Only you know what is best for you. When it comes to trusting the flow of money he says, “lean into the million and one ways to make money”. I couldn’t agree more.
