Ep 240: Breaking Free From The Constraints Of Your Job with the REAL Jet Setter Kirsty Verity

The way she walks the talk, she’s REAL. Kirsty Verity, the CEO of Amazon businesses and the co-founder of Real Coaching, sat down with us to talk about how her four week holiday off per year ignited her desire to radically transition from being a corporate marketing director to a multi-million dollar entrepreneur.

“Don’t worry about what everybody else thinks about what you’re doing.”

Kirsty is a serial traveler and adventure has been a significant and vital part of her life. That desire fueled her to use Amazon as her vehicle to live that life. It took her four years to leave her 20-year corporate career, and has traveled every continent since except Africa… just yet. She has then dedicated to taking you on with her to enjoy that same freedom-based lifestyle.

“So that’s kind of what sparked my interest in essentially thinking about ways to get a high income or get an income that suited my lifestyle that allowed me also to travel as well.”

How does someone run a successful multimillion-dollar business selling invisible products?

    The Mindset Of Success

Her REAL Coaching business aims to coach Amazon beginners to develop their businesses, and already Amazon sellers that plateaued or with small successes breakthrough to reach the real success they desire. The skills she honed in her two decades of corporate background made her the connoisseur in marketing and branding.

“I’m up for it. I’m going for it, and I will be helped by other people because they’ve done it before me, and they’ve been through it all.”

One thing is for sure; she doesn’t just go on Amazon platform hawking on some stuff. She makes sure all the I’s are dotted and crossed all the T’s. Her Philosophy is:

    1. Start with something that you enjoy.
    2. Check if other people are buying it.
    3. Make it your own.
    4. Create a brand that makes sense.
    5. Your first order need not be too expensive.
    6. Utilize the tools.
  • Ep 239: Navigating From An Underground Passion To A Higher Purpose Calling. Thinking Out Loud with Nate Setto.

Ep 239: Navigating From An Underground Passion To A Higher Purpose Calling. Thinking Out Loud with Nate Setto.

The only difference between try and triumph is just a little “umph.” And that is what Nate Setto is all about. An incredible pop and r&b artist, he grew up with a passion for music and began writing songs at seven. But before his career skyrocketed, he had to go through unconventional ways to make it happen.

“Once you see something click, stick with that, and then keep trying to look for more things, and try to find another thing that clicks and do that.”

With over 1.3 million views on YouTube, 36,000 followers on Facebook and 61.8K on Instagram, this Michigan native singer strives to inspire people. From creating party kind music to releasing a more personal song called “Novocaine,” that talks about the struggle of anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, this artist did not navigate the field without insightful stories to share.

“If you feel like this is something that you have to do, do it! You’d be surprised at what can happen, where it can come from, and who you can help.”

With a deeply rooted passion for music, Nate had to make a whole fake school schedule to trick his parents and find the time to go to the studio. As a result, he’s created incredible songs that won his parents’ hearts and approval.

Eventually, what started as underground music, navigated its way to comedians promoting them. He continued to put contents and try new things that earned him his massive following on social media.

While all that is happening, his spiritual journey was also unfolding right before his eyes. He started noticing coincidences, signs, and messages from the Higher Being through billboard, music, dream, reading, and radio.

“Pay attention to what’s going on in your life, and realize that He cares, and He wants to have a relationship with you. Once you connect with Him, you start seeing Him everywhere, and you’ll be on the right path to achieving the things you want to achieve.”

He has cemented his relationship with God, and now with his listeners. He openly talked about how anxiety, depression, and substance abuse inspired him to write Novocaine to help others who are going through the same thing. The song is different from what people know as his genre, but he is so proud of it’s a purpose-driven song.

“You know, I’m the type of person that if I was going through something, I want to go do something nice for somebody.”

  • Ep 238: What It Takes To Win Fast in the Face of Adversity with Siimon Reynolds

Ep 238: What It Takes To Win Fast in the Face of Adversity with Siimon Reynolds

A father, a husband, son, an incredible business coach, and a business leader who started his first company at just 23 years old — what hasn’t Siimon Reynolds done? He built the 15th biggest marketing services group globally, consisting of over 54 companies in 14 different countries of over 6000 staff, and a recipient of many various awards.

“If I just focus on my excellence, then that’s something you can win every single day, and that’s completely transformed the effectiveness of my life.”

After years of extraordinary business success, he is devoting his life to helping entrepreneurs, CEOs, high-level thought leaders, celebrities, billionaires, and people who achieve high-level success through mentoring and coaching.

“If you just do what everybody else thinks takes to be successful, your chances of being successful are really low.” How does he Win Fast in business and life? “I was driven by a fear of failure.”

Siimon strongly believes that to achieve the external goals, one must first work on his personal development. For him, business is just an instrument that tests your personal development. So even if you hit rock bottom, your go-to place will always be your personal development. It has to be the center of every business people and entrepreneur.

“So, I say 80% Good, then move on.” One strategy that works well for him is what he calls the “80% Good Principle”. It’s about getting all things done at an 80% perfection rate than do a thing or two perfectly and leave the other things undone.

“Look for new things to do, rather than just following the same road.” “70% of the bad things that have happened to me have been a result of not being organized.” He got transparent and shared that his lack of organization skills often caused his failures. That’s the beginning of his multi-decade study about productivity, which led him to his newly released book called “Win Fast.”

“It’s in times of stress that a lot of people in business succeed.” Shifting your focus to things you can control can transform your effectiveness profoundly. It would help if you had a proactive attack on life. A point made that is timely as the world goes through uncertainties brought by COVID, where adversity tested our resiliency. He leaves you with this question — What can you do to make you say, “I did COVID brilliantly.”?

    Train. Your. Core. Skills.

    1. Have a toolbox of mental and productivity tools.
    2. Have a checklist, and make sure to use it each day.

“The more you look at happiness equals progress, the more you see that most of the time, it’s true.”

  • Ep 237: Keto Not Quite Working For You? Here’s Why with Dr. Anna Cabeca

Ep 237: Keto Not Quite Working For You? Here’s Why with Dr. Anna Cabeca

Unexpectedly gaining weight? Too acidic? Keto not quite working for you? Struggling with sexual health issues? Having menopause from hell? You are not alone. In fact, there are many people who have hit a dead-end when it comes to

Please welcome the girlfriend doctor. Dr. Anna Cabeca. D. Anna is board certified in gynaecology, obstetrics, integrative medicine, and anti-aging and regenerative medicine. She’s a two-time best-selling author, a mom, and a public speaker on the topics of menopause, hormone balancing, and sexual health. She is the girlfriend Doctor.

“It can feel really hopeless, especially when you’re doing everything you think is right. And then there’s a shift, maybe there’s a disruption to our hormones, there’s a toxic exposure, there’s a virus, right, there’s something that attacks us. Even when we feel like we’re doing everything right it can feel like oh my gosh. And what’s the answer? There’s nothing I can do to get me out of this. It can feel this way….what is the one next right step I can take?”

Dr. Anna was burnt out, tired, gaining weight with no reasonable cause. Her patients were reporting similar experiences and she couldn’t get to the bottom of it. It was time to try the thing everyone is talking about: keto. It worked for a while but the side effect was sky-high acidity in the body which comes with its own slew of side effects and increased risk. Major contributors to acidity in the body are acidic foods (coffee, grain, sugar, dairy, fish, fresh & processed meats, processed foods, high-protein foods) and stress (cortisol, released during stress is the most acidic hormone in the body).

For her, the missing link to keto was alkalizing foods. From this observation, Keto-green 16 was born.

    What is Keto Green-16?

Keto-green 16 is the name of Dr. Anna’s most recent book. It is also a deep dive into her suggestions of a balanced way to go keto that doesn’t over acidify, helping keep the body in balance.  These are some points of Keto-green 16.

    1. We are what we eat/ate. Making sure what we’re eating comes from healthy sources.
    2. It’s not just about what you eat, but when you eat. With Keto-green 16, intermittent fasting is the name of the game (only eating for 16 hours of the day). The need to snack goes away and this gives the body time to fully digest what you eat, creates insulin-sensitivity, and gives a sense of fullness after you eat. Like you’re properly satiated.
    3. Introduce the alkalizing factor. Eating alkalizing foods like dark green leafy vegetables, cruciferous vegetables, and green herbs that are essential for detoxification and antioxidizing.
    4. Going keto while also balancing your body’s pH improve markers for inflammation, heart health, and brain health

“I noticed that in the mornings that I would walk on the beach or go for a hike or gratitude journal, I was more alkaline on my urine PH all day. That’s because cortisol, our stress hormone, is the most acidifying hormone in our body.”

  • Ep 236: Building 20 Different Businesses and Not Bowing to Bullies with Ron Coury

Ep 236: Building 20 Different Businesses and Not Bowing to Bullies with Ron Coury

Taverns. Restaurants. Luxury limousines. Casinos. Car dealerships. Printing. Wholesale glass and mirror sales. These are just a few of the many business ventures Ron Coury, has built and sold in his lifetime. He started his business career in Las Vegas, Nevada before it resembled the booming tourist hotspot that it is today. In fact, Ron had a hand to play in shaping the city into the “Vegas” we recognize.

“I think it’s unconventional to go into multiple businesses. Most people pick one thing. They may open a landscaping service or open a retail store, they work at all of their lives and then they retire. I think it was a bit unconventional to go into over 20 businesses.”

So how did he do it? How did an ex US marine build an empire in the gambling capital of America?

    Find. Your. Niche.

    1. Identify what’s never been done before or what’s not being done in your city
    2. Do the research
    3. Train yourself
    4. Put that training into motion by opening your business
    5. Build it to the point of being able to hire someone to run it
    6. Then go onto the next challenge

And that is exactly the formula Ron followed, building one business after another. Researching, building, training and then moving onto the next challenge. “I saw a town that provided an incredible amount of opportunity for somebody willing to take a shot, work hard, invest their money, and do different things.”

It didn’t come without its challenges. Ron received death threats, ran into corrupt members of the council and law enforcement, and fell ill with cancer.

“If it’s a good idea on Monday, and you invest money in your concept, it’s not any worse an idea on Friday because someone is trying to convince you not to do it. If you did the due diligence and you have a dream, don’t let someone scare you away.”
