Ep308: The Art of Matchmaking with Celebrity Matchmaker and Mogul Brands Founder Lisa Holley Palmer
February 28, 2022
With February coming to a close, most might think that the love in the air is starting to fade, but for the million-dollar matchmaker, Lisa Holley Palmer, love is worth celebrating every day, all year round.
She had always lived an “unconventional life” in the most literal sense, yet through all her ditziness and downfalls, Lisa has learned to push past the dead ends and love living in the moment with confidence and quirky grace 0151—sharing her story to the world, and using her experiences to help her clients live and love like they’re in their prime.
“I try to bring all the elements to help whoever it is in front of me, man or woman, 80- or 20-years-old, whoever it is, to help them feel the best of them.”
Being the soulmate seeker for both socialites and stars, Lisa is a firm believer that the best thing to invest your love in is yourself. She makes it a point that you’re not supposed to search for love, love finds you like pins to a magnet, that’s why it’s important to work on your “attractiveness” first, by learning to like who you are.
“You’re not gonna attract the right person – you need to heal and love yourself first.”
When asked how she made a breakthrough in such an unconventional industry, she highlighted how people tend to exaggerate; whether it’s in a relationship or in life and success, a lot of people get muddled in long-term ideas when they should be living in the moment, working their way towards their goal with the tangible resources that they have, rather than spending wasted time thinking over it.
“I knew what I wanted and I think that’s a really good thing,” she explains, “to know exactly what you want and what you want to achieve, stop looking at the 10-year-theme and just work your plan each day.”
Discover the 8 Pillars of entrepreneurial success that will take your profitability to the next level.
“Living an Unconventional Life means being able to do the things I want to do when I want to do them. It means having the freedom to turn my ideas into reality and to live a wildly successful life. It’s awesome.”

“When you’re living the Unconventional Life, you’re not willing to let others who have come before you dictate what is going to come after you. You can write your own path, you don’t need to be swept up in the river current of life.”
John Lee DumasFounder, Entrepreneur On Fire | 2M+ Monthly Listeners
“Living an Unconventional Life means moving purely based on your soul, on the instructions personally placed inside your soul from the Universe or God and doing it regardless of absolutely anything.”
Peta KellyFounder, Global Millennial Movement “The New Way”
